Employment Certification Letter
I am applying for employment at a new school. They want some type of Employment Certification Letter stating that, in fact, I have been legally teaching in Thailand for 3 years as stated in my resume. I offered copies of my contracts but they want an official document. What special document should I ask the secretary for at my current school?

A letter, signed by the director of your current school, stating that you've been employed by the school for 3 years.
Perhaps supported by:
- Copies of your work permit
- Copies of the pages of your passport with the extension of stay stamps
- (if applicable) the yearly permission letters from the Educational Service Area of the Ministry of Education.

Re: Employment Certification Letter
A letter of reference that states the dates you were employed. The letter should be on school stationary, signed by the director or the assistant director in charge of academics, and have phone number and e-mail in order to contact either of those people.

Re: Employment Certification Letter
It's a good idea, when leaving a job, to get one of these...file it away, in the event that you are asked for this in the future.
