well after a lifetime of globetrotting I settled in Thailand a few years ago,
I'm tempted to say my moniker derives from being a Mississippi mafioso, but the eponymous city is that of the dreaming spires,
re footie, in my salad days I spent a few Saturdays at Charlton Athletic, and even fewer at West Ham, though I did live opposite the Gunners ground for a year,
as far as I can tell from perusing the various threads here I'm the oldest person on the forum, though not necessarily the goodest, to misquote M Jagger.
This forum is without doubt the most civilised English-language forum in Thailand and, as far as teaching in Thailand is concerned, by far the most knowledgeable,

Hi siryessir, ty, sure have, one of my first trips was 4 months around the Mekong - Laos and Thai sides.
I wanted to drive to Vietnam, but you can't take a Thai car to Vietnam. Would surely be a nice trip.
That'd be a great trip. Maybe by motorcycle? Used ones you could buy buy at one border and unload at the next one.
It was a great trip, by boat and bus, no motorbike except around the cities.
