As the title says, my students will wear such equipment in their next tests.
Why... what are you testing for?
If it is a diagnostic test.... this tells you nothing. Let them loose and see who does the work and who needs to copy. Then see what they are copying... you know their weak points. It is about watching them and seeing the results.
If it is a formative test (including diagnostic tests) ... assessment for learning, this tells you nothing either - other than the teacher is too lazy to properly invigilate the class.
It it is a summative test... (assessment of learning) how are you testing that copying makes any difference?
The issues is less about copying and more about poor testing practices ...
tests that lack validity (they aren't testing what they claim to test) and
reliability (if copying makes a difference then the reliability is questionable).
that is an old pic ... and if memory serves was done as a joke.
...some call it copying, others collaboration...
same same but different, eh?
The top picture makes me think of elementary school headdresses that were supposed to represent native american headdresses. The latter I would expect to jump up and dance in sync to 'come together'.
Ah, two weeks to go til break
it's official Thai students can't think out of it
You are on to something here. Have you seen the entry-level exams for universities? Hell! A professor of Anglistic might struggle with some answers (when there can be several correct ones).
Moreover, my HoD once pulled a test off the internet - and my super class failed miserably. Perhaps there should be content relevant to the classes? There was a question about the Jurassic Park movie. Quite bizarre, really. And why do I have the feeling of smugness at work? Some "superior intellect" asking some questions
