sup...I'm new and heard a zombie apocalypse was coming.

Serious question: I've interviewed recently at some government schools here in Thailand and they seemed extremely informal and I get a job offer right away. However, later in the week I have an interview with a school in which I'm sure they will expect more. Not a problem for me but I was hoping some people could share experience on their interviews and what questions you've been asked.

As to your question ....many an answer I'm sure. But they may ask you some basic grammar rules so be prepared, may ask you to give a rough lesson plan on the spot given their example of what is to be taught, and my personal favourite: Why do you want to teach xxx in Thailand? Just like the Cub scouts ...be prepared. Good luck with your quest on a new job.

Thanks for the help. Most schools just want to see if I can handle a class of kids running around so any info is appreciated. I'll brush up on my grammar.

Please don't take your gf, lb, or wife to the interview. Be a man.

They'll let you fill out a form with a lot of questions and usually a demo lesson. Have a lesson plan prepared, better a few sets.

In your demo lesson-speak slowly and clear, don't forget to be funny.

When the question comes why you want to work at this particular school. just tell them that you've heard a lot of excellent evaluations and it's an honor for you to work for such a school.

When they ask you how much would you like as a salary, please be polite and change the topic. They might pay up to 45 K but when you say 34 K it's over.

Good luck with finding the right job.

Wow! Why didn't you tell me that YESTERDAY?? I brought the wife as I knew I'd need a translator. She negotiated my salary for me. I'll get 50k and only work 28 hours a week but my wife said that because she acted like an agent I only get 35 percent of my earnings. What should I do now???

Leave your wife and pocket her 65%.
    She's served her purpose.

Yes, there is. But I don't like KFC, MK or Swenson's. maybe I'll keep her around for a while so I don't starve. I'll make sure to dress down so she's forced to buy me new clothes.
