Just to let you know that I am new to this forum. My Thai wife of 22 years and I are planning, tentatively, to move permanently to Thailand, so I am doing preliminary due diligence in preparation for our move - probably in 2 or 3 years. I have now joined three forums for the purpose of learning all I can about all the factors involved in living in Thailand these days; much has changed in Thailand since 1992 when I met my wife as a volunteer English teacher at Suansunantha college in Bangkok where she was an instructor. We have resided in the US since our marriage in 1993. So, with gratitude, I will be perusing the various threads and "picking the brains" of anyone who can help me with particular information I may be inquiring about. สวัสดีครับ Sidney ซิดนีย์

Welcome Sid, not much has changed. Salaries, food, weather, administrative crap, coups. Same old same old.

    You're welcome.

However, the English language is the language we use on Thailand Teaching.
