I took this two plus years ago before it became the new and improved (longer) version. Do you know if they are still accepting that version or will I have to take it again so I can learn to wai and say sawatdee krap?

That is correct. I just paid for it and next week I can finally be introduced to Thai culture after having lived and taught here for 6 years.
